After earning my Psychology degree at Southampton University, life took me on an unexpected journey. My child was diagnosed with a rare disease and autism, which profoundly impacted my mental health and led me to my own path of healing. Through the process of caring for my loved one, I came to understand the overwhelming stress that comes with balancing it all—whether it’s anxiety, relationship struggles, the demands of caregiving, or simply trying to maintain your sense of self.
This experience deepened my passion for helping others and fuelled my passion to retrain as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I work with people from all walks of life, whether you’re navigating the emotional toll of caring for someone, living with a rare or chronic condition, dealing with relationship issues, or coping with anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. I believe that life’s journey is about building a toolbox of resources to help you navigate the highs and lows. My goal is to help you explore your emotions, build resilience, and find your own way forward.
Psychotherapuetic Counsellor
My experiences have helped me realise that while we can’t control everything in life, we can control how we respond to it.
In addition to my counselling practice, I run a rare disease charity, which has greatly influenced my outlook on life and strengthened my belief in the power of compassion and connection. It is a continuous reminder of the strength and resilience we can all find even in the hardest of moments.
Regardless of your situation, I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can feel safe, supported and cared for.
